Jacques Pepin is a recognized super chef, super instructor, and a master of technique, and Fast Food My Way is his most accessible book yet. Pepin believes that the best food is always the simplest, and in this collection of recipes he shows how to save hours in the kitchen without compromising the taste and end result of your dish. How? By using simplified ingredients and what you have available in your kitchen, not to shun convenience foods, and by developing a fast food style of your own.
Pepin, the consummate teacher, shows how to take short-cuts to make 30-minute cassoulets, soups, stews, gratins, pastas, potato dishes… simple, straightforward food that can be prepared quickly and is ultimately the most satisfying for both the cook and those enjoying the finished product. Best of all these simple, easy to prepare dishes are presented in a deluxe package befitting a chef, teacher, and cookbook author (21 cookbooks and counting!) who is in a class of his own.
“Cooks in a hurry take heart. Memorable meals are just moments away!…”—Jacques Pepin

Trying to find the recipe of Jacques Pepin’s potatoes that are boiled whole in chicken stock then barely smashed down at the end of cooking time. I actually saw it on Rachel Ray’s show and she was preparing them with one of her menues on the show and they really looked good and I wanted his exact recipe. Thank you!
